Dressed in Ribbons

D: The original (un-scanned) version looks a lot better. Unfortunately I have no idea how to display the pretty, exact copy. Unless you drove all the way out to my house and looked at it I guess.

Hurray, hurray, hurray!! it’s a pencil piece!! Hurray, hurray, hurray!!!

Now that that’s out of my system. *Clears throat.* It’s not as good as a few of my other pencil pieces (shading wise), or it is and I’m being lame again.. Or I just can’t tell because of lack of sleep… But it’s probably because there’s a lot of white? Nnaahh… she’s still adorable.

I like how her hair came out. :3 I think I did a pretty “a-okay” job on the braid.. D: braids are hard, man!! I didn’t know how to curve it.. So I sort of guessed. It fits tho, in my opinion.

Hehe.. I must have finished shading her around three in the morning.. Working on and off to avoid the extremely annoying neck cramps. XD You know what’s sort of neat tho? On her clip there is a backwards “D”… Haha.. Hahahahahaaa.. Hrm. >>; I thought it was funny…. *Long awkward pause.* Moving on!!

Much love for her outfit. I think it came out exceptionally cute. (That or I’m just a big fan of bows/ribbons).

The background didn’t take very long, seeing as.. Well, its not much of a background. XD;;; Ah-hahaha.. Haha.. Hrm.

I’m not all that proud of this version, but I do really love the un-scanned piece. ^___^ Tis so purty!! You can see a lot more of the shadings detail on the un-scanned… brings out more of the pictures life and sense of cuteness. SENS OF CUTENESS DARN IT! *Deep breath.*

This was all done with my two mechanical pencils, click eraser, sketch pad, and a make up brush (The make up brush comes in real handy to remove small pieces of eraser!!). I drew most of the outlining in 0.5 lead, and shaded/outlined darker with the 0.7 lead. Ah yes.. Much love for DG’s favorite wittle pencils.

Steal her and I’ll eat you. D:< And if I can’t eat you, I know my dog can!! So HA!!
